So I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven – I recently have returned from the most amazing, wonderful, whirlwind trip to New York City where I got to wander the streets for four days straight! I ate everything I bookmarked, and visited every museum I fancied. From the top of the Rockefeller center, to subways, I hit high and low, up and down the city!
I would have never in a million years imagined I would get to see one of the Met Costume Institute exhibits, and so shortly after the Met Gala! But I did, the stars lined up for me. The Manus x Machina fashion exhibit was one of the most exquisite ones I have ever seen (and I’ve had my fair share here in San Francisco.) The sub-title, fashion in an age of technology, and title which is a nod to man-made and machine-made gave you a sense of what to expect.
